ANNUAL SPONSORED RIDE AND STRIDE Many thanks to all who were involved in this year’s sponsored Ride and Stride on the second Saturday in September (12th). It was an highly successful event, and expected to match the record 2008 total of £52 ,449, 50% of which goes to the Wiltshire Historic Churches Trust and 50% to the particpants’ own churches. This year was the 26th anniversary of the sponsored Ride and Stride in Wiltshire which has now raised c.£1m since it was first organised in 1984.
